Charles Lawson founded Forge Property Consultants in 2010 after working for two national firms. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1997 and as a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers in 2001. With a background in land agency, managing some of the most diverse rural businesses in the UK, he describes his main skills as being "professional, versatile and calm in a crisis".

Charles’ current work includes advising clients at a strategic level, property management and a variety of professional work, as well as promoting and growing the business of Forge Property Consultants.
Most of Charles’s spare time is spent with his two young children.

Tom Mason joined Forge Property Consultants in 2013 after graduating from Harper Adams University, where he studied the Rural Enterprise and Land Management course. He describes his main skills as being "innovative, ambitious and an excellent communicator".

Tom is currently completing the professional experience needed to sit the examination to become a Member of the Royal Institution Of Chartered Surveyors. He is involved in most aspects of professional work within the office and promoting Forge Property Consultants.

Tom is a lifelong member of the Scout Association and has many sporting interests.

Jo Wood started working for Forge Property Consultants in spring 2013 bringing a wealth of experience in accounts and administration after working in various sectors including Agricultural Accounts for a number of years. She describes her attributes as being “friendly but professional’’

Jo’s main areas are managing the financial aspects of the business and supporting the Forge team.

Jo’s likes are: country walks, preferably with a pub lunch at the end! Family, good food, good wine and good company, including her children and pets.

Jo’s dislikes are: negativity, bad food and bad wine.

Frances Hitchen has joined Forge Property Consultants for her placement year. She is in her third year at Harper Adams University studying Rural Property Management. She will be assisting the team with all aspects of the business. She is working towards her Accreditation of Professional Competency with the aim of becoming a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

In her spare time Frances enjoys playing rounders and is a key part of Nesscliffe Young Farmers Club, where she has had various roles and is currently press officer. She also enjoys cooking and working on the farm at home.

Chrissie Rowlands joined Forge Property Consultants in early 2017 after working on a major infrastructure project in the North West since completing her studies. She graduated as a mature student from Harper Adams University in 2015 with an MSc in Rural Estate and Land Management. She also holds an MSc in Town Planning from Newcastle University, and describes her main attributes as having excellent inter-personal and organisation skills.

Chrissie is currently working concurrently towards completing the professional experience required to become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. She is involved in all aspects of the business but focuses primarily on agency and planning work alongside business development.

In her spare time Chrissie enjoys baking, reading and photography.
