2021 – a year of growth for Forge Property Consultants
13/12/212021 has been an extraordinary year by any measure as we have all had to establish new ways of working, despite the ongoing challenges presented by Covid-19. For Forge, this has been a year of immense change, with the further development of our valuation department, a surge in demand for our RICS home survey services and growth of our core team.
We ended 2020 with the appointment of Dave Bates (BSc Hons in Building Surveying) joined us as a Senior Building Surveyor, in order to support the growth in demand for our building surveying, project management and maintenance services.
Amie Beacock joined as an Assistant Surveyor in April, predominantly working alongside the valuation team.
Helen Bourne was also recruited to take on some of technical aspects of running the Forge business, Helen has many years in the property industry and brings a good set of skills to support the fee earners.
New office for Forge in Wales
In the summer we were delighted to welcome a new director to the team, when Ed Merriman joined us. His arrival also heralded the opening of our new office in Wales. Based in South Wales, Ed is responsible for providing strategic property advice to clients in respect of estate management, as well as on valuation and land compensation matters, his particular specialist area.
We end the year with Andy Lowe and Amie Beacock moving onto new positions, we wish them both well as their professional careers develop.
The whole team at Forge is now looking forward to next year when we will continue to provide our clients with the full range of property services from home surveys, valuations, sales and lettings to planning, utilities and estate management. We would like to wish all our clients a happy and peaceful Christmas and a very good start to 2022.
