Sale at Five Fords provides “final piece of the puzzle” for Forge’s longest-standing clients

Forge Property Consultants is pleased to report the recent sale of over 100 acres (40.8 hectares) of strategic land at Five Fords, Wrexham, following the retirement of the firm’s longest-standing clients.

Managing Director, Charles Lawson, commented,

“Huw and Rhys Jones were our first signed up clients when we started the business in 2010 and we have worked for them almost continually since then.

“We helped them when land was acquired to create the new southern access road to Wrexham Industrial Estate, when we dealt with all of the issues around land entry and compensation. There have been various pipeline matters to address too, as well as valuation and tenancy work, contract farming and planning, as well as working alongside the other professional advisors on a strategic basis.

“We were delighted to help the Jones’ as they planned towards retirement and we were very grateful that they trusted us with the sale of their dairy farm in 2022. The sale of Five Fords is the final piece of the puzzle and the sale price achieved is well above agricultural value, due to its proximity to the Wrexham Industrial Estate and due to the promotion of the land by Forge as part of the emerging Local Development Plan.
