Land sales in Wrexham area: land remains an attractive long term investment opportunity
03/07/23Forge Property Consultants has had recent success in selling a number of land parcels in the Wrexham area of North Wales.
Forge sold 33 acres of good quality pasture land Bwlchgwyn as five lots. The sale price achieved was over the guide price (£12,000 per acre), with sales completed in late 2022/early 2023. Interest was strong from equine purchasers.
More recently, Forge has been asked to sell a further 65 acres in up to five lots near to Coedpoeth. Lot 4, which is a block of amenity woodland, is currently under offer, having received a lot of interest. The guide price on the remaining land is £10,000 per acre.
At Four Crosses, three lots are under offer above the guide prices, with just under 12 acres remaining, in up to four lots.
Director Charles Lawson commented,
“We have been pleased with the level of interest received in the land for sale around Wrexham, although there are perhaps signs of fewer enquiries, due to the rising cost of borrowing and increasing costs of living. The remaining land parcels still present an attractive opportunity to farmers, equine purchasers and companies needing to offset carbon. Land will, in our view, always remain an attractive long-term investment opportunity.
